“WE ARE SO GLAD HE WAS HERE”

The Laguna Blanca community is forever grateful for the year 
we had with Richard Marracino. Many remarkable achievements 
that we celebrate in this special issue of Laguna Blanca 
Magazine are a result of his inspiring and optimistic leadership. 
We are so proud to count him as a treasured “alumnus” of 
our school. When he arrived as Interim Head of School in July 
2013, he said his greatest hope was that people would say,
“We’re glad he was here.” Actually, we are honored that he was 
here. Thank you, Richard, for your authentic and kind spirit. 
You will be missed!
