STUDENTS GIVE BACK ON MS SERVICE DAY
|
|
Students
in grades 5-8 participated in a day of service last Friday,
ranging from a beach clean-up and construction projects to working with our kindergarteners
at the Lower School campus. Their activities were both educational
and inspirational, and best of all, students enjoyed the
experience.
For
one service project, the eighth grade class planned, fundraised,
and transformed a space on the Middle School campus as their
lasting contribution. "The Corner" was created by the
class of 2020 to be an area for Middle School students now and in
the future to come together and socialize in a beautiful
environment. Be sure to check out the above video for a glimpse
of the eighth graders transforming a corner of the Middle School
campus. "It was great seeing my whole class working together
on something to give back to the school," said one eighth
grader.
Thank
you to all the Middle School students and teachers for your hard
work and effort!

AN AMAZING SEASON!

Laguna Blanca’s boys volleyball team made history going
all the way to the CIF Division 5 Finals last weekend. After
three tight games, the Owls lost to the Damien Spartans.

our fourth gear,” first-year head coach Jon Roberts said,
despite an all-around performance from senior Pierce O’Donnell
'16, tallying 8 assists, 6 digs and three blocks for the
Owls.
Senior outside hitter Philip Fauntleroy '16
led the Owls' attack with 13 kills and three blocks in the
