LIBBY HASSE WINS TOP SENIOR PROJECT
For her senior project at UCSB, Libby worked alongside graduate
students who were working on their senior projects. Her project in
soft robotics resulted in the creation of a claw-like device
(pictured below) that is actually being tested--successfully--by a
group of scientists in the Gulf of Mexico.
By the time she completed her project, Libby had gained an extensive
understanding of soft robotics, learned what it was like to work as
an engineer, how to be self-reliant, how to manage her time, and how
to produce results.
Libby plans to study aeronautical engineering in college.

SUPPORT LAGUNA BY MAKING A GIFT TO THE ANNUAL FUND
Your gift to the Annual Fund supports the talents,
efforts, accomplishments...and smiles of our students.
At Laguna Blanca, we ask each
family to contribute a meaningful gift to the Annual Fund.
No matter how large or small,
each gift has an immediate impact on the lives of our students.
If you have not already done so,
please make a gift by June 30 to be counted in the 2014-15 Annual
Fund. THANK YOU!
